Porsche Cayenne Electric Arrives In Singapore: Stuttgart's Apex SUV Goes Silent, Not Soft

Singapore – Going electric doesn’t mean going quietly. Porsche has pulled the covers off the new Cayenne Electric range in Singapore, ushering in the fourth-generation luxury SUV with all the performance, practicality and presence you’d expect from Stuttgart’s favourite family hauler – just with a lot less noise.

Making its local debut at Singapore EXPO, the Cayenne Electric arrives in both SUV and Coupé body styles, with three variants available – Cayenne Electric, Cayenne S Electric and the range-topping Cayenne Turbo Electric.

The headline grabber? The Cayenne Turbo Electric is now the most powerful production Porsche ever built, packing a frankly absurd 1,140hp and 1,500Nm of torque. It’ll dispatch the century sprint in just 2.5 seconds, which is quicker than most people take to realise they’ve accidentally ordered a soulless teh peng kosong, instead of the real deal.

Even the entry-level Cayenne Electric isn’t exactly short-changed. It produces 435 HP, gets from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, and offers up to 642 km of WLTP range.

Built on Porsche’s new 800-volt architecture, the Cayenne Electric supports charging speeds of up to 400 kW, allowing a 10 to 80 per cent charge in as little as 16 minutes. Recuperation rates of up to 600 kW also mean it’s giving quite a bit back every time you lift off the accelerator.

As with every Cayenne before it, Porsche insists this one’s designed to do it all. It’ll happily ferry the family to dinner, eat up a long-distance road trip and still make a spirited Cameron Highlands drive feel worthwhile. Standard adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management comes standard across the range, while selected models can also be specified with Porsche Active Ride suspension and rear-axle steering for sharper driving dynamics.

Inside, the Cayenne Electric receives Porsche’s largest-ever Flow Display setup, alongside a dizzying array of personalisation options. Singapore-bound models also benefit from additional standard equipment, including a BOSE Surround Sound System, Digital Key and Automatic Parking with 2D Surround View, plus several exterior paint options at no extra cost.

For buyers who like their SUVs with a touch more drama, the Cayenne Coupé offers a sleeker silhouette inspired by the iconic 911. It’s marginally more aerodynamic too, extending range by up to 18 km compared to its SUV sibling.

The new Porsche Cayenne Electric range is available for order now in Singapore, with prices starting from S$372,788 excluding COE. Customer deliveries are expected to begin in the third quarter of 2026.
