The new MINI Cooper One offers another way into MINI ownership, and MINI Singapore is sweetening the deal with a boutique hotel stay, curated dining experiences and a little city exploration.

Singapore — Buying a car is usually followed by the familiar rituals of insurance, road tax and figuring out where to park it. MINI Singapore, however, reckons the experience should be a little more memorable.

The brand has introduced the new MINI Cooper One, pairing its arrival with an exclusive collaboration with Mondrian Singapore Duxton. From 24 October to 12 December 2026, all new MINI owners will enjoy a curated hotel stay designed to bring together motoring, lifestyle and a healthy dose of indulgence.

The idea is simple enough: owning a MINI should be about more than getting from A to B. And if that journey happens to include a stylish hotel, good food and a few interesting places along the way, all the better.

According to Daren Ching, Head of MINI Asia, the partnership reflects the brand’s belief that the ownership experience should be every bit as rewarding as the drive itself. The new Cooper One, meanwhile, is intended to offer a fresh entry point into the MINI family without losing the character, design and signature go-kart feeling associated with the marque.

More than just a place to park your MINI

The MINI x Mondrian experience is designed around a series of curated activities, with bespoke in-room touches and a dedicated MINI driving experience taking owners to selected lifestyle destinations around Singapore.

Guests can try their hand at crafting mocktails and cocktails with a mixologist at Canyon Club, while New Bahru provides another stop for exploring the city’s creative scene.

When it comes to dinner, guests can choose to dine at Birds of a Feather or save their dining voucher for another occasion. The following morning offers a chance to recharge with a curated wellness activity, such as a workout or swim, before breakfast.

Throughout the stay, MINI-themed touches tie the experience together, bringing the car into the wider lifestyle itinerary rather than leaving it sitting in the hotel car park.

It is a different approach to welcoming new owners, placing as much emphasis on the memories made around the car as the time spent behind its wheel.

A suite escape for those who fancy a little more

Beyond the ownership package, Mondrian Singapore Duxton is also offering a separate suite experience for guests who want to spend a little more time with a MINI.

Titled “Drive Into a Suite Escape with Mondrian Singapore Duxton x MINI”, the package includes a two-day, one-night test drive of the MINI Cooper, complimentary parking, and a MINI-themed welcome drink at Canyon Club.

There is also a four-course set lunch at Bottega di Carna, daily breakfast for two and a leisurely 2pm late check-out, subject to availability.

Unlike the ownership experience, this package is centred on a hotel stay and an extended opportunity to get behind the wheel of a MINI. It offers another way to experience the brand, whether you are considering a purchase or simply fancy a change from the usual weekend routine.

The suite experience is available through Mondrian Singapore Duxton, with further details on its official offers page.

A different way into MINI ownership

With the new Cooper One, MINI Singapore is looking to make the brand more accessible while retaining the design-led character that has long been part of its appeal.

The collaboration with Mondrian takes that idea a step further, turning the arrival of a new car into an experience that extends beyond the showroom.

After all, a MINI has always been about a little more personality in everyday motoring. And if that now comes with a boutique hotel stay, a proper meal and a morning by the pool, it is hardly the worst way to start a new ownership journey.

Interested buyers can visit the MINI Habitat showroom at 27 Leng Kee Road, Singapore 159098, to find out more about the new MINI Cooper One and the ownership experience.
