The Chinese SUV brand has sold more than 2.5 million vehicles worldwide. Now, VINCAR Group will be responsible for building its presence in Singapore.
Singapore — Singapore’s automotive market is getting another Chinese SUV brand, with VINCAR Group appointed as the authorised distributor for JETOUR.
Established in 2018 under Chery Automobile, JETOUR has grown quickly beyond its home market. The brand recorded cumulative global sales of 2,510,147 vehicles as at 31 August 2026, with a presence in more than 100 markets worldwide.
The Middle East has been an important market for JETOUR. According to the company, it achieved an 8.5 per cent share of the region’s SUV market, ranking third overall behind Toyota and Nissan and first among Chinese automotive brands. In the United Arab Emirates, it recorded 230 per cent year-on-year growth between 2023 and 2024.
The brand has made progress closer to home. JETOUR Malaysia delivered 5,048 vehicles in the first half of 2026, exceeding its full-year total of 2,743 units in 2025.
VINCAR takes the wheel locally
For Singapore motorists, the appointment means VINCAR Group will oversee JETOUR’s local brand development, sales, marketing, retail operations and aftersales services. The group, which was established in 1989, brings more than three decades of experience in the local automotive industry. Their current brand portfolio includes GAC, Aion, Hyptec and Proton e.MAS.
According to our sources, JETOUR will make its presence felt at next years Singapore Motor Show, debuting two models. We strongly believe that one of the two will be the JETOUR T1 SUV.
“Being appointed as the authorised distributor for JETOUR in Singapore marks an exciting new chapter for VINCAR Group. As we continue to expand our automotive portfolio, we remain focused on introducing brands that offer something distinctive to the market. JETOUR’s philosophy of travel and exploration brings a fresh perspective to the SUV segment, and we look forward to building the brand in Singapore while delivering the quality of service and customer experience that VINCAR Group is known for.” Said Ernest Tan, Deputy CEO, VINCAR Group.
