With an indicative price of $1,273,088 before COE, that’s about $1,800 per hp…

Singapore – Porsche Singapore unveiled the new apex of the 911 range. Launched in a luxury villa setting at Raffles Hotel Sentosa, dubbed “House of Turbo”, the Porsche 911 Turbo S is the 911 range’s super all-rounder.

Often called the ‘Swiss army knife’ of the car world, the 911 Turbo S is supremely capable across many different driving scenarios – and importantly – never forcing its owner to choose between extremes. The new Turbo S raises the bar with significantly increased performance, more intelligent aerodynamics, an optimised chassis and even more exclusive equipment. All of this is packaged in a more muscular design.

The new 911 Turbo S differentiates itself from the 911 model range with elements in Turbonite colour, which is exclusively for Turbo variants. These include the Porsche crest and the “Turbo S” lettering at the rear. Turbo S-specific inserts in the slats of the rear wing and side window strips differentiate the top-of-the-range model. The range of wheels for the Turbo S includes new center lock designs in Turbonite. The body and track are also wider compared to the Carrera models. This also goes for the openings in the rear side section.

The rear fascia of the Turbo S also receives a redesign, featuring striking ventilation openings which additionally emphasises the car’s width.

The Turbo S interior is also characterised in Turbonite accents. These are found on the door panels, steering wheel, dashboard and center console surrounds, decorative stitching, Sport Chrono stopwatch and instrument cluster. The seat belts and several buttons in the center console are also designed by the Porsche designers in this color. As a first, the new 911 Turbo S receives carbon-structured trim strips with neodyme trim and a perforated microfiber headliner with black backing as part of the exclusive interior.

The 911 Turbo S coupe is by default a two-seater for weight savings, but rear seats can be added as a no-cost option. The Cabriolet on the other hand is specced as a 2+2. Adaptive 18-way Sports Seats Plus with memory function and “Turbo S” lettering on the headrests are used ex-works. The Turbo S-specific embossing on the seat surfaces and door panels is a reinterpretation of the design features of the first 911 Turbo 930. The folding lightweight sports bucket seat from the 911 GT3 is available as an option for the Coupé.

At the heart of the new Porsche 911 Turbo S lies a 3.6-litre flat-six equipped with their innovative twin‑turbo T‑Hybrid powertrain, which puts out 701hp (523kW). The 911 Turbo S delivers near-hypercar performance, reaching the benchmark 100km/h in 2.5 seconds, and goes on to 200km/h in just 8.4 seconds.

The T-Hybrid system is an evolution of the unit which debuted in the 2024 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS. For the Turbo S, it is fitted with two smaller eTurbos, as opposed to a singular large unit on the GTS. The result is not only a substantial gain in output of 60hp (45kW), but also in its responsiveness.

While the standard ceramic composite brake (PCCB) system has been retained, Porsche has fitted new brake pads, which can withstand even heavier loads. The brake disk diameter for the rear brakes have been increased from 390mm to 410mm, while the front brake rotors have a diameter of 420mm. This means that the new 911 Turbo S is equipped with the largest PCCB brake system that Porsche has ever installed in a two-door model.

Despite its increase of weight over its predecessor, the new Porsche 911 Turbo S receives significantly improved driving dynamics, which more than compensates for the additional 85kg.

The best proof is in the pudding. A lightly camouflaged Porsche 911 Turbo S achieved a lap time of 7:03.92 minutes under notarial supervision – around 14 seconds faster than its predecessor.

“The new 911 Turbo S is shown in Singapore under warm light, natural materials and a luxurious lived-in atmosphere that sets the tone for an exclusive unveiling experience, rather than a traditional launch,” says Dr. Henrik Dreier, Director Importer Singapore, Porsche Asia Pacific. “With the ‘House of Turbo’, we welcome guests into a world that mirrors the philosophy of the 911 Turbo S itself – extraordinary performance, seamlessly integrated into everyday life.”

The new Porsche 911 Turbo S retails from S$1,273,088, before COE but includes a 5-year free maintenance and warranty package, registration fee, estimated ARF, 12-month road tax, estimated VES fee/rebate, and GST.
