As A Precious Steed gallops into town, BMW Eurokars Auto gets into the thick of Boterismo
Singapore – The Year of the Horse comes early as BMW Eurokars Auto teams up with Botero, to present โA Precious Steedโ. An exclusive artistic collaboration developed in dialogue with Botero in Singapore.

The collaboration ties in with the โBotero in Singaporeโ exhibition, presented by IMBA at Gardens by the Bay; and is by far the largest and most ambitious curation of Maestro Fernando Boteroโs work staged globally. The exhibition will see some 130 of the artistโs works, split into three exhibitions:
Botero: Garden of Grandeur
An outdoor exhibition, featuring some of the late artistโs monumental bronze sculptures. These include โSeated Womanโ, โAdam and Eveโ, and โThe Dancersโ. โHorseโ, which is the largest, is three-meters in height, and weighs approximately 3 tonnes.
The free exhibition runs from 25 January to 18 May 2026.

Botero: Heart of Volume
An indoor gallery takes you into a quiet, intimate encounter with Boteroโs drawings, paintings and sculptures. The exhibition reveals the foundations of the Maestroโs visual language, his play on volume, humour, emotions and compositions.
| Ticket Prices | Resident | Non-resident |
| Adult | S$24 | S$30 |
| Child / Senior* | S$17 | S$24 |
*Senior ticket pricing is only applicable to Residents.
The exhibition will run from 13 February to 18 May 2026.
Botero: A Life in Fullness
You get to see the late artistโs life through the eyes of his eldest son, Fernando Botero Zea. From humble Colombian beginnings, to worldwide recognition.

This unique experience narrated by the younger Botero, will walk you through Botero Srโs humour, struggles, and triumphs. A heartfelt tribute to a life lived in fullness, and to a legacy that continues to grow.

The session dates are from 6 March to 18 May 2026. Ticket prices are TBC.
A Precious Steed
At the heart of Eurokars BMWโs collaboration with the Botero Foundation are three bespoke BMW vehicles as moving works of art, each adorned with Botero-inspired art decals, featuring horses.

The collaboration is a timely one, as in Chinese culture, the horse symbolises strength, vitality and forward momentum. The name ๅฎ้ฉฌ (BMW), meaning โprecious steedโ, lends particular resonance to the collaboration, aligning the symbolism of the Year of the Horse with BMWโs philosophy of dynamic performance, innovation and refined luxury, making this collaboration a natural expression of power, elegance and progress.

The collaboration includes a BMW 735i, presented at IMBA, Gardens by the Bay; which will be on display till late January 2026.
At the BMW Eurokars Experience Centre, you will have the chance to view two cars with the Botero decals – a BMW 735i and BMW iX40. Alongside, BMW Eurokars Auto will also have two ultra-rare cars on display, the BMW 3.0 CSL, and BMW Skytop.

The cars at BMW Eurokars showroom at 11 Kung Chong Rd, will be on display till 22 February. The showroom will be open from 9am to 6pm.

โA Precious Steed reflects our belief that the automobile can be a contemporary cultural form, one that carries meaning, craftsmanship and emotion,โ said Jason Lim, Managing Director, BMW Eurokars Auto. โInspired by Boteroโs exploration of volume and presence, this collaboration places BMW design in conversation with art, allowing culture to move beyond the gallery and into lived experience.โ
We learnt that all three of the Botero-inspired cars will eventually go on sale.
