With the launch of its now-electrified commercial vehicle lineup, Mercedes-Benz blends practicality with sustainability.

Singapore – Following the transition of Mercedes-Benz’s commercial vehicle range into electrification, its latest line-up of the eCitan, eSprinter and eVito has been unveiled to the brand’s commercial partners, media partners and customers. Through these three models, which Mercedes-Benz claims to be efficient, safe, and technologically advanced, the marque aims to cater to those in the commercial transport, delivery service and urban logistics industries.

eCitan: $144,988

Being only approximately 4.9 metres long, the eCitan combines compactness with spaciousness, making it a perfect choice for urban courier and delivery services.

The panel van contains a 4.2 cubic meter-loading capacity with a maximum payload of 690kg. Its wide-opening sliding doors, rear double-wing doors and low loading sill height ensure a seamless loading of goods.

The eCitan’s powertrain delivers 122 horsepower (90kW) and 245Nm of torque, while its 45kWh battery gives it a sufficient 300km of range. A 75kW DC charger enables the battery to charge from 10-80% in a mere 38 minutes.

On the inside, the eCitan’s MBUX multimedia system includes a 9.5-inch touchscreen, Smartphone integration package, electric parking brake and KEYLESS-GO.

LED high-performance headlamps sufficiently illuminate the road ahead when driving at night. Drivers can also be assured of their safety with driver assists such as Anti-locking Brake System, Electronic Stability Program (ESP®), Hill-Start Assist, Active Parking Assist, Reversing camera and Cruise Control. Driver and co-driver airbags, Thorax-sidebags and windowbags can further protect passengers in case of a collision.

eVito: $163,988

For customers wanting something a little bigger, they can instead opt for the midsize eVito that has capacity for 6 cubic metres of storage, 880kg of payload and even 150kg of roofload as a bonus.

The distinctive new front design of the eVito features adaptive MULTIBEAM LED headlights, while the cockpit has been redesigned to contain a 10.25-inch central display and a 5.5-inch colour instrument cluster. The electric powertrain delivers a peak output of 116 horsepower (85kW) and a maximum torque of 360Nm.

The eVito also comes with the latest MBUX multimedia system, electric parking brake, and a multitude of safety and assistance systems mostly similar to those found in the eCitan.

The eVito contains a 60kWh battery, allowing it to travel up to 327km on a single charge. Use of an 80kW DC charger replenishes the battery from 10-80% in 35 minutes.

eSprinter: $213,888

However, for those who want to go big or go home, the eSprinter offers by far the largest holding capacity of the three models. With a 10.5 cubic meter cargo capacity that can carry up to 1,366kg of goods, it is perfect for hauling large and heavy goods from A to B.

To account for this weight, the van has been equipped with a powerful electric motor that creates 204 horsepower (150kW) and 400Nm of torque. Its 81kWh battery makes it good for up to 267km of range on one charge, and battery can be swiftly recharged from 10-80% in 34 minutes with the use of a 115kW fast charger.

On the inside, the eSprinter’s MBUX multimedia system contains a 10.25-inch display, Smartphone integration package, electrical parking brake, HOLD function, and a Dashboard Charging package for when your phone is low on battery.

Just like the other two models, the eSprinter is not short of safety features. Active Brake Assist, Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Blind-spot Assist, Attention Assist, wireless tyre pressure monitoring and a substantial number of airbags are just some of the features that will keep occupants safe.

All three models come with a battery certificate warranty for up to 8 years after vehicle registration of 160,000km of mileage, whichever comes first.

“Our newly expanded line-up of fully electric commercial vehicles—the eCitan, eVito, and eSprinter—demonstrates Mercedes-Benz’s commitment to accelerating electric mobility in Singapore,” said Marcel Luis Mustelier Perez, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Singapore.

“With a turnkey approach, we deliver comprehensive, end-to-end solutions tailored to the unique operational needs of businesses—ranging from vehicle customisation and advanced safety features to robust aftersales maintenance support,” he added.
