
The new MG4 hatchback looks way milder than its extroverted predecessor, but it has plenty going for it
Singapore – Eurokars EV Pte. Ltd. recently unveiled the new MG4 Urban Electric Hatchback. Unlike its predecessor which featured rather extroverted styling, the new MG4 Urban sports milder exterior styling.



The new hatch which is 108mm longer than the car it replaces, offers generous cabin space, with everyday usability and comfort. Features include ventilated front seats with six-way electric adjustment for the driver and four-way electric adjustment for the front passenger. The 12.8-inch infotainment touchscreen touchscreen offers both wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

For added convenience and safety, the electric hatchback is equipped with a 360-degree parking camera, active safety from MG Pilot Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. There is also a full complement of 7 airbags, for the front, side, curtain and centre.


For everyday practicality, the centre console is designed with 30 storage points, while the 480 litre boot, some 117 litres larger than the car it replaces, can be expanded to 1,364 litres with the rear seats folded.

This time around, the MG4 receives a front-drive setup. It sits in the Category A COE segment, producing 99kW (133hp) and 250Nm. Consumption is rated at 15.5kWh/100km, with a range of 586km WLTP.

The new MG4 Urban is available in 7 colours, including the new signature Sage Green, while the interior is available in Dark Grey and Sky Grey.
Prices start from $184,888, including 1-year free road tax, 500kWh Shell Recharge credits and $500 MG Care vouchers.
