Equipment-rich AION V EV now available with Category A power!

Singapore – on 11th July, GAC AION unveiled the all-new AION V Premium as a new variant to build on the success of its popular all-electric AION V Luxury. Being a Cat A COE variant, the AION V Premium will stand as an appealing option for Singaporean drivers seeking an accessible transition into going electric. 

The AION V Premium retains the distinctive Cyber T-Rex design language with its bold sculptural elements, sitting atop 19-inch aluminium alloy wheels. It also features convertible front seats (Instant Bed Mode) and a generous 427 litres of boot space, ensuring both flexibility and everyday usability for drivers and families alike.

On the inside, the AION V Premium offers many of the hallmark features that have defined the model lineup. This includes L2 driving capabilities, AI-powered voice control, a panoramic moonroof with electric sunshade, double-glazed acoustic insulation, wireless charging and large, illuminated vanity mirrors.

The cabin also retains the brand’s signature floating dual-screen cockpit, which includes the very auspiciously-measured 8.88-inch LCD instrument display. This complements a spacious and quiet interior that enhances overall ride enjoyment.

A 9-speaker Premium sound system, and synthetic leather seats with memory function, heating, and ventilation in the front seats also play their part to ensure plush, pampering driving. 

Engineered on the same AEP 3.0 EV platform and incorporated with AION’s proprietary Magazine 2.0 Battery Technology, this new variant also benefits from being fitted with the same high-strength body structure and extensive suite of safety systems as its counterpart, the AION V Luxury. This ensures a confident and secure experience for the driver and their passengers.

The AION V Premium is equipped with a 64.5kWh battery that reaches an efficiency of 16.7kWh/100km, and a WLTP range of 435km. This ensures the demands of both city driving and longer-distance travels are readily met. It also supports DC fast charging of up to 150kW, surging from 30% to 80% in just 16 minutes.

The AION V Premium is priced at S$166,988 (accurate to time of publishing) and will be available for viewing and test drives at the GAC AION Singapore showroom at 24 Leng Kee Road.
