Audi Singapore is bringing a taste of Formula 1 to Cross Street, with a racing simulator competition offering fans the chance to set the fastest lap, and the chance to win a Trackside Experience for two Singapore Night Race

Audi is making its first season in Formula 1 a little more interesting for Singaporeans, by giving fans the chance to find out just how quick — or hopelessly slow — they really are behind a virtual steering wheel.

The Audi Singapore Time Attack 2026 kicks off this month at the Audi House of Progress Singapore, turning the GT Bar at 18 Cross Street into a temporary battleground for sim racers across three challenge weekends.

“Less wall, more road” he said.

The concept is simple enough. Get in, strap yourself to the racing simulator, keep the shiny virtual Audi pointing in roughly the right direction and set the fastest lap.

Sounds easy… It isn’t.

I had a go at the racing sim rig myself and discovered, rather painfully, that knowing how to drive a real car does not necessarily mean you know how to drive a racing sim. My car found the wall with an almost worrying degree of regularity, proving that apparently there are limits to how much throttle, kerb-hopping and blind optimism a racing simulator will tolerate.

The Audi Singapore Time Attack 2026 coincides with its arrival in Formula 1 for the 2026 season.

“Formula 1 represents a significant new chapter for Audi, and with it comes an opportunity to deepen how people experience our brand,” said Martin Bayer, Managing Director of Audi Singapore. “Time Attack reflects our commitment to creating customer experiences that extend beyond our products, bringing together our community in an engaging and accessible way. We see this as the start of a broader programme of experiences that will strengthen our connection with customers and fans throughout the season and beyond.”

And there is more than bragging rights on offer.

There will be three winners in total, with the fastest driver from each challenge weekend taking home a rather substantial prize package. That includes Audi Revolut F1 Team merchandise, a $100 dining voucher for either Meatsmith or People People Brewing Co., and — most importantly — a Trackside Experience for two at the Singapore Night Race on 10 October 2026.

  • 22 & 23 August 2026 — 11am to 6pm
  • 12 & 13 September 2026 — 11am to 6pm
  • 26 September 2026 — 11am to 6pm

  • Entry: Free
  • Registration: Closes at 5.15pm on each event day
  • Format: Set the fastest lap during the respective challenge weekend
  • Prize: One winner from each weekend

Each weekend’s fastest driver will receive an Audi Revolut F1 Team cap, jersey T-shirt, backpack and trading cards, along with the $100 dining voucher and Trackside Experience for two at the Singapore Night Race.
