Mazda’s new space at Kung Chong Road puts the all-electric Mazda6e in the spotlight, while offering an early glimpse of the upcoming CX-6e SUV ahead of its official Singapore unveiling
Mazda Singapore is giving its electric models a place of their own with the opening of a new EV Studio at its showroom at 1 Kung Chong Road. The space is designed to let customers get better acquainted with the brand’s electric line-up — and we also had a sneak preview of the upcoming Mazda CX-6e.
The new EV Studio brings together the Mazda6e, Mazda’s all-electric fastback, and the CX-6e, an electric SUV that has yet to make its official Singapore debut. While further details of the CX-6e will be announced at a later date, this early look offers a taste of what Mazda Singapore has lined up next.
It is a small but meaningful step in the brand’s electrification journey, with Mazda looking to make its electric cars part of the wider showroom experience rather than treating them as a separate species.

A new chapter, the Mazda way
Built around the theme ‘A New Chapter, The Mazda Way’, the EV Studio reflects Mazda’s view that electrification should be an evolution of the brand, rather than a complete departure from its established identity.
That means continuing to put human-centred development, design, craftsmanship and the Joy of Driving at the heart of the experience, even as the technology under the bonnet changes.
The new space follows the material palette of the main showroom, giving the electric models a distinct area without making them feel disconnected from the rest of the Mazda line-up. In other words, going electric does not mean Mazda intends to leave its familiar design philosophy at the charging point.

“The EV Studio gives us an opportunity to bring our electric models together in a space where customers can discover them at their own pace. As we introduce new technologies, we want the experience to remain distinctly Mazda and centred around the people who drive our cars,” said Jason Lim, Managing Director of Mazda Singapore.
The studio also forms part of Mazda Singapore’s broader ‘Greater Journeys’ initiative, which looks at how customers experience the brand as its vehicle range and technology continue to evolve.

Getting acquainted with the Mazda6e
The Mazda6e is the current electric star of the studio. The all-electric fastback can be explored up close, with customers able to arrange a test drive and experience the car both in the showroom and out on the road.
A dedicated space gives prospective buyers an opportunity to spend more time with the car and familiarise themselves with Mazda’s approach to electric mobility. After all, specifications and charging figures only tell part of the story; how a car feels and fits into everyday life matters, too.
For customers who are still weighing up the move to an electric car, the EV Studio provides a more focused setting in which to explore Mazda’s offering and ask questions at their own pace.
A first look at the Mazda CX-6e
The other attraction is the upcoming Mazda CX-6e, which will also be featured at the EV Studio ahead of its official unveiling in Singapore.

We had a sneak preview of the electric SUV, giving us an early glimpse of Mazda’s next addition to its growing electric line-up. For now, however, the local launch details remain under wraps. Mazda Singapore says further information about the CX-6e will be announced at a later date, so we will have to keep our questions — and our more detailed verdict — for another day.

Its presence alongside the Mazda6e offers a glimpse of how Mazda’s electric range could develop, with an all-electric fastback available for customers to experience today and an electric SUV waiting in the wings.

Electrification, without losing the plot
The opening of the EV Studio is more than a new corner of a showroom. It gives Mazda Singapore a dedicated setting to introduce its electric models while reinforcing the idea that electrification can sit comfortably alongside the brand’s existing values of design, craftsmanship and driver engagement.

With the Mazda6e available to explore and the CX-6e making an early appearance ahead of its local unveiling, the studio offers a look at where Mazda Singapore stands today — and a hint of where it intends to go next.
