Zeekr Singapore launches new 7X SUV, marks successful first year

Zeekr marked its first anniversary in Singapore with the official launch of the Zeekr 7X, capping a milestone year for the global electric mobility brand

Singapore – Zeekr celebrated its anniversary in Singapore with the launch of the 7X, a tech-luxe family SUV, at an exclusive showcase event at Marina Bay Sands. This expands the Chinese carmaker’s all-electric lineup in Singapore to three cars. The launch of the 7X is a timely one, as it coincides with Zeekr marking its first year in Singapore. Zeekr also commemorated the handover of the 7X to its 100th owner as a testament to strong pre-launch demand and growing customer confidence in its vision for future mobility.

A 5-seater mid-to-large luxury SUV, the Zeekr 7X boasts a sleek fastback silhouette, clean lines, and generous proportions atop a 2,900mm wheelbase. Focusing on intelligent design, elevated comfort and dynamic performance, the 7X exudes road presence while remaining agile for urban driving. At the front, LED headlamps and daytime running lights provide a confident visual signature. The rear features a full-width LED tail lamp and integrated turn indicators that enhance road presence. Frameless doors and a hatchback-style electric liftgate add to its clean aesthetic while improving ease of use. A panoramic glass roof spans nearly the entire length of the cabin, while a power sunshade protects from heat and glare. Exterior details, including flush door handles, E-latch doors with an emergency release, and rain-sensing wipers further enhance functionality and design.

The 7X is available in three variants, RWD Standard, RWD Long Range, and AWD Performance, offering a unique blend of range and power for individual preferences. On a full charge, the variants offer WLTP ranges of 475km, 605km, and 540km respectively. With 800V DC fast charging, the 7X charges from 10% to 80% of battery as quickly as 10.5 minutes. The RWD variants with the 75kWh battery finish the 0-100km/h dash in 6.0 seconds, whereas the AWD Performance variant with the 100kWh battery does the same in 3.9 seconds. Power output for the RWD variants peak at 310kW with 440Nm of torque, while the AWD variant delivers 475kW and 710Nm of torque.

The interior of the 7X blends refined tech with a surprisingly high level of craftsmanship. Available in three sophisticated colour themes – Purple & White, All Black, and Black & Grey. The 7X features a responsive infotainment, advanced voice interaction, personalised system performance, and for entertainment, a premium 21-speaker ‘Zeekr Sound Pro’ audio system.

The 3D surround ambient lighting system enhances the atmosphere with a continuous light strip that wraps around the dashboard and instrument panel. With 11 customisable light effects, the system interacts with laser-engraved water ripple panels to cast a flowing, soft glow, for a sense of luxury that shifts with mood and driving environment.

The 7X offers a spacious and refined cabin for both comfort and cutting-edge interaction. Its 83+% occupancy ratio surpasses executive-class standards, and is further bolstered by comfortable front seats, which feature eight massage points, six massage modes, and three adjustable intensity levels along with ventilation. Rear passengers can also enjoy the comfort of power reclining sofa-style seats for that first-class lounge-like experience. With 36 storage spaces found throughout the cabin, the new Zeekr SUV fully embodies their “Comfortable Luxe” concept. A spacious boot, with 616 litre rear cargo capacity, accommodates up to three 28-inch suitcases with ease, allowing the 7X to adapt effortlessly to any lifestyle.

Safety features on the 7X goes beyond its dome body structure and 720° safety protection system. This includes an Occupant Monitoring and Driver Monitoring system for real-time cabin safety For external awareness, Zeekr 7X is equipped with a comprehensive sensor suite that includes 12 high-definition cameras, one long range millimetre-wave radar, and 12 ultrasonic sensors, enabling 360-degree visibility around the vehicle. Battery protection is equally advanced, with 7X’s power system safeguarded by eight key safety mechanisms. This includes thermal propagation prevention, and a three-layer battery tray design that minimises the risk of overheating and enhances structural resilience.
