The Q6 e-tron is a compelling offering in the electrified premium mid-size market

Singapore – Following the premiere of the Q6 e-tron quattro at the Singapore Motorshow back in January, Audi Singapore has now launched its rear-wheel drive sibling in the Singapore market.

The Audi Q6 e-tron spearheads a new era of electrification for the brand, as it is the first battery-electric vehicle (BEV) built on Audi’s new scalable Premium Platform Electric (PPE), which Audi plans to use in all of its future EVs. As one of the most popular premium mid-size segment Audis, it offers class-leading driving performance while making advancements in range and efficiency.

While the quattro has 285kW (382hp) and can travel up to 543km on a single charge, the new rear-wheel drive variant produces 185kW (248hp) and has 464km of range. Revisions made to the electric system have also made its drivetrain 30% more efficient than the first generation of Audi e-tron models. Innovations in fast charging allow for 255km of added range in 10 minutes, and for both variants to charge from 10-80% in around 20 minutes.

On the inside, the Q6 e-tron ensures a luxurious and convenient driving experience through Digital Stage — Audi’s state-of-the-art infotainment system featuring an 11.9-inch driver display, 14.5-inch MMI touch display and 10.9-inch MMI passenger display. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also included as standard. It’s practical too – both variants provide 64 litres of frunk space and 526 litres of boot space, which can be expanded to 1,529 litres with the rear seats folded down.

“The Audi Q6 e-tron is an important model for us. As the first electric model built on the Premium Platform Electric, it represents a new generation of electric mobility at Audi,” stated Martin Bayer, Managing Director of Audi Singapore. “Alongside the upcoming launch of the Audi A6 e-tron this year, Audi Singapore is poised to offer even more options to meet the evolving demands of the Singapore market.”

The rear-wheel drive and quattro variants of the Audi Q6 e-tron quattro start at S$336,999 and S$412,999 respectively, inclusive of current COE prices. Interested customers can take the rear-wheel variant for test drives, while both variants will be available for viewing at the Audi House of Progress Singapore.
