Skoda’s first compact electric SUV rolls into Singapore, bringing with it Skoda’s new Modern Solid Design Language to herald a new era for the Czech brand

Singapore – Skoda Singapore officially launches the all-new, all-electric Elroq at the Car Expo on 27th and 28th September, its first compact electric SUV with a new Lodge Design Selection, to highlight the eco-innovation approach to their interiors. With its new Modern Solid design language, sustainable materials and range capability, the Elroq is a more affordable and timely addition to the Škoda lineup, in a time where COEs have simply shot through the stratosphere.

The new Modern Solid design language is defined by bold proportions, a minimalist “Tech-Deck Face” to replace the traditional grille, as “four-eyed” matrix beam headlights. Aerodynamic features such as a flat underbody, air curtains, and a tailgate spoiler contribute to a drag coefficient of 0.26 for improved efficiency and range. Customers can choose from a colour palette that includes the new Timiano Green, alongside Magic Black, Graphite Grey, Moon White, Velvet Red and Race Blue. 20-inch “Vega” alloy wheels also lend additional road presence. The Elroq, though shorter than the Enyaq, shares the same 2,765mm wheelbase as its larger sibling, which means that its interior room is identical… There is quite a bit of win here!

The interior of the Elroq blends technology with sustainability. A 13-inch infotainment system with a 5-inch digital cockpit, USB-C charging of up to 45W and a ventilated wireless charging pad ensures convenience on the go.

The new Lodge Design Selection highlights Skoda’s eco-innovation, featuring RecyTitan (recycled PET fabrics) and TechnoFil (ECONYL® fibres from repurposed nylon waste) across the cabin. Ambient lighting, ergonomic wrist rests and orange seatbelts add further flair to make it even more eye-catching. Despite its more compact footprint, the Elroq provides 470 litres of luggage space which expands up to 1,580 litres with the rear seats folded. In true Skoda style, the Elroq’s boot is supported by Skoda’s signature “Simply Clever” touches such as storage compartments, cable management, and parcel-shelf innovations.

With a 63kWh battery and a 150kW rear-wheel drive set up, the Elroq completes the 0-100km/h dash in 8 seconds to a top speed of 160km/hr. With DC charging, the Elroq can be powered from 10% to 80% of battery in just 24 minutes. On a full charge, it delivers a WLTP range of 430km, making it ideal for both city commutes and weekend escapes.

The Elroq is backed by a range of safety and assistance features that include adaptive cruise control, park distance control and travel assist 2.0, which offers added functionality in traffic jams and emergency situations.

The Skoda Elroq is priced at S$219,900 (price accurate to time of posting). It is also available for viewing and test drives at Škoda’s showroom, located at 26 Leng Kee Road, Singapore 159104.
