The 14-hectare site adjacent to Singapore’s Changi Airport, the first in the region, will feature a two-kilometre handling circuit at its core

Singapore – In a move that would probably be the closest thing we get to a “proper” race track, Porsche Asia Pacific held a groundbreaking ceremony on the site of the future Porsche Experience Centre Singapore.

The 14-hectare site adjacent to Singapore’s Changi Airport, which will be the first in the region, will feature a two-kilometre handling circuit at its core. The new Porsche Experience Centre Singapore will also be home to a fully integrated, high-capacity Aftersales facility. In alignment with Singapore’s Green Plan 2030, sustainability will be a cornerstone of the overall development, with a significant electric vehicle fleet and eco-conscious infrastructure built-in.

The groundbreaking event which was attended by distinguished guests including Ms. Jean Ng, Assistant Chief Executive of the Singapore Tourism Board; Mr. Oliver Kiesewetter, Senior Vice President Airport Operations at Changi Airport Group; and Mr. Karsono Kwee, Executive Chairman of Eurokars Group, Porsche’s long-standing partner in Singapore.

Matthias Becker, Member of the Executive Board for Sales and Marketing, Porsche AG said: “The groundbreaking of the Porsche Experience Centre Singapore is not only a proud moment for the entire team at Porsche Asia Pacific, but marks an important milestone for our brand globally, and is a signal of our long-term commitment to Southeast Asia.”

Leaders from Porsche AG and Porsche Asia Pacific also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Changi Airport Group, formalising a strategic partnership and integrating the upcoming Experience Centre into the broader Changi aviation and tourism precinct. The agreement will explore opportunities aimed at innovating visitor experiences and sustainable development—reflecting the shared vision and values of both companies.

“This new Porsche Experience Centre in Singapore will serve as a regional hub for brand immersion and elevated customer engagement. Through our close collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board and Changi Airport Group, we aim to create guest experiences that are seamless, memorable, and uniquely Porsche,” said Mr. Hannes Ruoff, CEO Porsche Asia Pacific.

This groundbreaking ceremony comes shortly after the opening of Porsche at Jewel – a permanent brand space blending lifestyle retail, global F&B flavours, and curated car exhibits in the heart of Changi Airport’s Jewel mall.
